Youth Led Services

Every month, the youth of Christ Church Virginia Water get to take over the church for an evening, and lead a service. It's a great opportunity to come to church and experience something different, something exciting. We tend to follow the main church's sermon schedule, which can be found here. Youth led services are usually on the third Sunday of the month, so come along, bring your friends, and have a great time!

Camps for 2010

Years 7-9 (11-14s)

Casterton 2 is a brilliant camp held near Kirby Lonsdale, right on the edge of the Lake district. Loads of young people, brilliant leaders, Fantastic facilities, tons of fun activities and beautiful scenery make this a week that you really need to get in your diary (Saturday 31st July to Saturday 7th August). Last year the Venture cost £188 so should be about the same again (Subsidies may be available for those who would struggle to pay the full cost). More information available here .

Years 10-13 (14-18s)

Keswick '10 (31st July - 7th August) The Keswick Convention has been going since before your parents were born! It's a great week of Bible teaching for 0-100 year olds in the heart of the beautiful lake district. Thousands of people go, and there's a big variety of stuff you can do. The youth programme was excellent last year, but if you want to slow the pace down a bit you can pick and mix to find what suits you best. Also on offer are the masses of activities that the lake district offers... We'll be renting our own hostel again and we'll be doing our own thing. This is a really good opportunity to get away as a youth group and get to know each other better. If you're in year 9 this year and will be moving up to year 10 then we'd like to invite you to join us so you can get settled into Fuel ahead of time... 16th – 22nd August Contagious is an excellent week that is designed for Christian young people to really grow in their faith. I don't know another camp like it! Come to Contagious if you want to be really challenged... Contagious is held at the Culford School nr. Bury St Edmunds. Click here for more info...
